Community Rose Mary's School of Dance is constantly helping in our community. We have worked with many groups and organizations. The group has been performing in the local area for many years. The programs are free of charge and can be arranged by calling the school. If you have a community event and would be interested in including some entertainment, the group is always willing to volunteer their time. Rose Mary’s School of Dance is dedicated to providing quality instruction in a non-competitive environment to help build self-esteem and creativity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fall Festival Rose Mary’s School of Dance, in Matamoras, is proud to announce that their Performing Group has recently preformed for a Fall Festival in Milford, PA. The Performing Group consists of a selected group of students willing to donate their time and talent to the community. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Girl Scouts We can assist girl scout troops in acquiring their dance badges. We have offered free classes to assist Daisy, Brownie and Jr. troops to achieve their dance badges. Typically done in a 1 hour class, held at the dance studio. The program can also be held at the scouts meeting place. If you are interested in having the studio help your girl scouts, please give us a call! The Brownie Dance Try-It and the Girl Scout Dance Badge are two of the badges that can be completed during this program. If the scouts have completed the badge but would like learn more about a dance studio, a field trip can be arranged. If your scout group would be interested in scheduling a field trip or a class to work on the badges, please call the office at any time at 570-491-6371. Community Fair for St. Mary's Little Lambs Preschool Port Jervis Arts Walk Golden Age Club 50/50 club, Hemlock Farms Milford Senior Care St. Joseph's Place Belle Reve's Senior Living Center Fall Foliage Festival Heritage Days, Port Jervis, NY Access 8 Television Old Lumberyard Shops, Milford, PA Local Chirstmas Parade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fundraisers Soda Tab Fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House. Helped to collect materials for a donation by the Center for Developmental Disabilities in Milford, PA. Students helped to collect art supplies, paper supplies, and monetary donations. The Ronald McDonald House collects the tabs, which are recycled to raise money to support families of children who are hosiptalized. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FRIEND DAY!!! We recently held Friend Day where all students were encouraged to invite a friend to class. Friends participated in all aspects of classes. This was a special time to share the joy of dance with others. Everyone had a great time! Thank you to all of the friends who came in. |
